A leading facilities management company in Reading is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a temporary position. The role involves various maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry, and general upkeep of the premises. Ideal candidates will have relevant experience and skills in basic maintenance work. Working hours will alternate between 7AM - 3PM and 9AM - 6PM. Competitive pay of up to £14.55 per hour offered.

Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client in Reading to join as a Maintenance Technician on a temporary basis and to start as soon as possible.

Location: Reading
Working Hours: 7AM - 3PM & 9AM - 6PM (alternating shifts)
Job Type: Temporary position, 4-6 weeks initially with the potential to extend
Salary: Up to £14.55 per hour

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, basic plumbing, replacing light bulbs, basic carpentry, painting / decorating, ground maintenance, escorting contractors on site, pool maintenance.
• Ensuring gates and buildings are locked / unlocked at the start and end of the day.
• Set alarm systems and respond to emergency call outs.
• Conducting building checks.
• Maintaining general presentation of the grounds.
