Job summary

Salcombe Harbour Hotel is looking for a capable Maintenance team member to join our on-site team. You will handle painting, decorating, electrical, joinery and plumbing with a keen eye for safety and quality.

Qualifications

  • Basic maintenance skills including painting, decorating, electrical, joinery and plumbing.
  • Experience in leisure environments (spas/pools) is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

  • Perform painting, decorating and basic maintenance tasks.
  • Handle electrical, plumbing and joinery duties as required.
  • Liaise with outsourced contractors and suppliers to complete work.
  • Be available to work weekends as part of the team.

The role...

We are currently recruiting for an excellent Maintenance team member to join the team. As a Maintenance team member, you will be confident in all basic maintenance skills including painting, decorating, electrical, joinery and plumbing. You will need to have a keen eye for detail, be an effective communicator and possess excellent knowledge of Health & Safety regulations. Someone who is organised in their work and reacts quickly and effectively when required. Working as part of a team, you will be required to liaise directly with outsourced contractors and suppliers. Previous experience of working within a leisure environment including working with spas and swimming pools would be desirable. Please note that this role requires weekend work.
