The Role

Are you passionate about combining your leadership skills and knowledge of property maintenance to make a meaningful difference in the community? Join us as a Maintenance Operatives Team Leader and help improve the lives of people using P3 Charity's services by ensuring their living environments are safe, comfortable, and well‑maintained.

Working at various sites across Cheltenham and Gloucester, you will:

  • Conduct damp and mould surveys
  • Perform fire door inspections
  • Plan maintenance priorities
  • Lead a small but successful and hard‑working team of Decorators and Maintenance Operatives
  • Delegate tasks, provide technical support, and oversee contractor work to ensure deadlines and budgets are met
  • Track resources across repairs and replacement services and drive improvements in safety, efficiency and quality
  • Ensure legal compliance, including HHSRS
Qualifications and Experience

We’re looking for someone with:

  • IOSH Managing Safely certification or a City & Guilds qualification or NVQ Level 2 in at least one trade
  • Leadership experience in a similar role
  • Good understanding of property maintenance
  • Ability to work with a wide range of people and take initiative
  • Full UK driving licence (a company van, tools and workwear will be provided)
