Overview

Location: West Midlands

Salary: £33,592 - £46,189 per annum

Hours: 36 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Surveyor to join our team covering Birmingham and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Neighbourhood Repairs Manager; responsible for pre/post-inspection and reports for responsive repairs, void works and cyclical repairs, consulting and engaging with customers and leaseholders, and with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Plan and coordinate repair, maintenance, and construction work to deliver according to cost, time, and quality standards.
  • Undertake building and technical surveys to determine the building condition and identify defects and associated risks.
  • Carry out major void inspections and ensure that work is completed in line with KPIs and make recommendations based on survey findings.
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Surveying, Property and Maintenance Level 3.
  • Member of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS or CIOB).
  • It is essential to be a member of a relevant professional body e.g. RICS or CIOB.
