Job summary

A leading employment agency is seeking a Maintenance Support professional in Blandford. The role involves performing maintenance on tools and equipment, conducting electrical repairs, and supporting site services. Candidates should have experience in maintenance and be confident working at height, with a strong understanding of health and safety procedures. This is a temporary opportunity with a pay rate of £19 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Support cleaning duties and manual handling operations.

Maintenance Support | Blandford | £19ph DOE

Are you hands-on, practical, and confident working at height or with tools? Looking for a varied role where no two days are the same? This Maintenance Support opportunity offers immediate temporary cover within a well-established manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Performing maintenance and repairs on air-operated hand tools and power tools
  • Conducting electrical testing and repairs up to 240v single phase
  • Maintaining and replacing welding gas cylinder lines, torches, and gauges
  • Carrying out site services and machinery repairs, including compressors and air pressure lines
  • Supporting cleaning duties and manual handling operations, including ladder and step work
Qualifications
  • Familiarity with site services and facilities maintenance
  • Previous experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance
  • Confident use of Outlook and Word
  • Comfortable working at height and performing manual handling tasks
  • Understanding of health and safety procedures, especially around water systems and electrical safety
