Are you a mechanically minded leader from a manufacturing, heavy engineering, or similar environment?

Are you looking for a role offering complete autonomy and the chance for further progression?

This established and growing company are seeking an Maintenance Supervisor to join their team as they make significant investment in both their plant & people. You will manage a team of circa 20, leading all operational and maintenance tasks on one of the company's flagship sites (off tools).

We are seeking an experienced mechanical engineer with great people skills. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and looking for a role offering further training & development.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Take ownership of daily operations covering Maintenance, QHSE, Production etc., overseeing a team of circa 20 people.
  • Lead, develop and motivate operational and maintenance teams to meet performance targets.
  • Drive continuous improvement—spotting opportunities, solving problems, and raising standards.
  • Full budgetary controls over resources, operational costs and maintenance activities.
What You Will Bring
  • A strong background in mechanical engineering
  • Experience in a manufacturing, heavy engineering, or similar environment. This includes the Armed Forces, REME and Navy.
  • Proven leadership skills — or the clear ability to step into leadership.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
