Overview

Our client is a market leader in the metals manufacturing sector. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer/ Supervisor to join their successful business due to increased workload.

Responsibilities

• Supervising a small team and reporting directly to the Operations Director.
• Performing planned maintenance, fixing faults and responding to emergency breakdowns both in and outside working hours.
• Organising and working with subcontractors.
• Responsible for the creation of permit to works and carrying out contractor inductions.
• Responsible for ensuring repairs are carried out in a timely manner with minimal disruption to production.
• Ensuring equipment and spares are at a suitable level and that those levels are maintained both physically and updated systematically.
• Responsible for the Health & Safety of the team and works they are carrying out.
• Position is days only, Monday to Friday – hours and times to be confirmed.

Qualifications

• Computer literacy in Excel and Word.
