We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Section Manager to join and lead our friendly maintenance team at our T armac Stancombe Quarry and Asphalt Plant, which is located in Bristol. The site is easily accessible from Long Ashton, Nailsea, Portbury, Portishead, Wrington, Langford, Yatton, Bristol and the surrounding areas.

As the Maintenance Section Manager you will be responsible for managing the section, taking ownership of performance and quality, achieving and maximising the efficiency of the process and delivering a preventative maintenance scheme for fixed and mobile plant. Managing a team and controlling health and safety requirements in respect of the full range of activities carried out. Responsible for instilling an inclusive culture where people are treated with dignity & respect.
You will be proactive and ‘hands on’ in all maintenance activity including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), defect and risk management, breakdowns, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and project engineering work.
As Maintenance Section Manager your responsibilities will include (not exhaustive):
The successful applicant in the role of Maintenance Section Manager will be instrumental in the future development and support of the engineering culture to achieve the benefits available through continuous improvement strategy. You will have experience as an Engineering (Supervisor or Manager) / Maintenance (Supervisor or Manager) within a similar heavy manufacturing industry and line management experience will be essential.
