Role

Our client, a prominent organisation in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Maintenance Professional with a focus on Supply Chain to join their team in Samlesbury. This is a 12-month contract position that requires on-site presence and contributes critical support to the Military, Air & Information business unit.

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the maintenance processes within the supply chain
  • Ensuring the integrity and efficiency of supply chain operations
  • Implementing and monitoring maintenance schedules and procedures
  • Collaborating with various departments to streamline supply chain activities
  • Identifying and mitigating any risks associated with the supply chain
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant security protocols and industry standards
  • Conducting regular audits and inspections to maintain quality and performance
  • Providing regular reports and updates to the management team
Job Requirements
  • Experience in supply chain management within the Defence & Security sector
  • Strong understanding of maintenance processes and procedures
  • Ability to work on-site in Samlesbury under fully on-site hybrid arrangements
  • Active Security Clearance (SC) or the ability to obtain one
  • Understanding of ITAR and UK Eyes-only restrictions
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
