Job summary

Jelly Technical is seeking an Engineering Planner to join the Lichfield team to manage planning and scheduling of maintenance activities across production, facilities and water treatment systems.

The role focuses on building weekly maintenance schedules, coordinating statutory inspections, and acting as CMMS expert to drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety and site compliance. Benefits include private health, life assurance, and a discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance planning within manufacturing or process industries.
• Strong proficiency with CMMS and data accuracy in system records.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Build and fine-tune weekly maintenance schedules for production, facilities and water treatment systems.
• Coordinate statutory inspections and upkeep for site services including refrigeration, HVAC, electrical systems and fire safety.
• Act as CMMS site expert, ensuring data accuracy and driving continuous improvement.
• Oversee third-party service providers, verifying risk assessments, method statements and permits.
• Monitor resource allocation and investigate deviations to prevent repeat issues.
• Deliver safety inductions and competency checks for incoming contractors.
