Job summary

Avanti Personnel Limited is seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to lead maintenance planning and compliance at a busy Middlesbrough site. The role focuses on strategic planning, budgeting and coordinating engineers and contractors to ensure safe, reliable plant operations.

You will establish maintenance processes, integrate CMMS-based workflows, and report performance to Senior Management, driving continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering or maintenance background within manufacturing, processing or heavy industry.
• Experience in maintenance planning, PPM and corrective/reactive maintenance.
• Exposure to CMMS or maintenance planning systems and coordinating engineers/contractors.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily, weekly and long-term maintenance activities.
• Coordinate engineers, contractors, and resources to balance downtime and operations.
• Monitor maintenance performance and budgeting, ensuring compliance and safety.
