Qualifications

  • Proficient in reading electrical/mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.
  • Experienced with CMMS systems.

Position

Maintenance Technician

Flintshire

Contract

Full‑Time, Permanent · 2 days 2 nights (4 on 4 off)

Salary

£55,798 pa plus overtime and includes bonus

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical and mechanical planned maintenance and repairs (hydraulics, pneumatics, automation) to maximise machine reliability.
  • Install, modify, and commission equipment and machinery across the site.
  • Develop maintenance schedules and manage critical spares with the Plant Engineer.
  • Drive continuous improvement through RCI involvement and root‑cause resolution.
  • Supervise contractor activities and support Apprentice/Grid engineers in training.
  • Maintain clear communication during shift handover and with cross‑functional teams.
  • Update engineering documentation, including drawing interpretation and record‑keeping consistency.
Skills & Experience
  • Strong troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated systems.
  • Proficient in reading electrical/mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.
  • Experienced with CMMS systems.
  • Engineering qualification.
  • Proactive and committed to HS&E and 5S housekeeping standards.
