Maintenance Operative

Bristol • £32,000 – £35,000

An exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Operative to join a leading FM provider, working across two modern corporate office environments. You’ll be part of a supportive facilities team, carrying out general maintenance and fabric repairs across both sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks
• Undertake general fabric and handyman works – painting, patching, joinery, paving, basic plumbing, and drainage
• Complete minor repairs such as fixing hooks, adjusting doors, or re‑siting paving stones
• Perform regular water flushing and temperature checks
• Work closely with the onsite team to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and safely

What You’ll Need

• Previous experience as a Fabric Technician, Handyperson, Caretaker, or Maintenance Operative
• Experience working within facilities or building services (commercial/corporate setting preferred)
• Good understanding of PPM schedules
• Strong communication and organisational skills
