Maintenance Officer

Hours: 37.5hrs per week
Pay Rate: £14.58
Location: Maryville 10 The Butts, Brentford, London, TW8 8BQ
Shift Patterns: Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm - must be willing to attend on evening or weekends for emergencies.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience working within a similar role, understanding maintenance and gardening tasks.
  • Experience working with elderly individuals/learning disabilities desirable.
  • Eligibility to Work in the UK: You must be eligible to work in the UK. Frances Taylor Foundation does not offer sponsorship or work visas. Proof of Right to Work will be required at the interview stage.

About the Role:
  • Regularly inspect the building and ensure all repairs are reported to the Matron.
  • Ensure that all leaves and other debris is removed from drains, gutters and flat roof tops; sweep away leaves, etc. ensuring the grounds are tidy; pay particular attention to areas around entrances and footpaths.
  • Undertake painting and decorating as requested and as necessary.
  • Ensure all paints, thinners, glue and all other toxic and hazardous substances are properly sealed and stores safely after use.
  • Maintain flower beds and shrubs.
