A property maintenance company in Greater London is seeking a maintenance multi-trader to perform remedial and planned maintenance across their properties. The ideal candidate will have substantial multi-trade experience, including plumbing and carpentry, and work effectively in high-pressure environments. Job description
The Role

As a maintenance multi-trader, you'll visit our properties across the Greater London region to carry out remedial and planned maintenance and to ensure that we're always providing decent quality accommodation for our tenants. You'll be part of a team of other field based maintenance multi-traders, and office based co‑ordinators to ensure that repairs are carried out promptly and effectively.

What will you be doing?
  • Attending properties to carry out proactive and reactive maintenance repairs, with work scheduled for you by your office‑based coordinator
  • Completing jobs in accordance with service level agreements
  • Registering job progress reports and completing job reports
  • Accurate collation of data for each job (photos/ videos)
  • Ensure planned maintenance and breakdown activities are monitored and any delays logged and escalated to the maintenance service team
  • Ensure material and supply stock levels are maintained at all times within your vehicle
  • Ensure that the highest levels of customer service are fully implemented to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Updating information on PDA system
It's essential that you have:
  • Able to work either 10:30am to 6:30pm or 12:30pm to 8:30pm or 8:00am to 4:30pm
  • Substantial experience in multi-skilled trade repairs and maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, and plastering
  • Full clean UK driver’s license
  • DBS / Police checked
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Your own tools to carry out basic plumbing, carpentry and plastering work
  • Close attention to detail
  • Good administrative skills
  • Ability to work on your own initiative without close supervision and as part of a team
It's an advantage if you:
  • Have previous experience working in temporary and emergency accommodation
  • Have experience working with vulnerable individuals and managing HMO properties
