We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Engineering Manager to oversee the engineering operations at Delta Hotels Bristol City Centre and support Delta Hotels Swindon .

This role (4 days in Bristol, 1 day in Swindon) is ideal for someone

who thrives on balancing operational excellence with hands-on leadership

across multiple properties.

The Engineering Manager will ensure both hotels are maintained to the

highest standards of safety, sustainability, and guest satisfaction.

You’ll manage daily operations, lead maintenance teams, support capital

projects, and ensure all facilities comply with brand and legal

standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead engineering and maintenance operations across both properties.

Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and brand standards.

Drive sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives.

Manage maintenance contracts and oversee capital project execution.

Use systems like Transcendent to manage preventive maintenance and reporting.

Conduct regular property inspections and provide hands‑on support when needed.

Candidate Profile

Minimum 2 years’ experience in hotel engineering or facilities management.

Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and Health & Safety regulations.

Experience with CMMS (e.g., Transcendent) preferred.

Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.

Member of a relevant professional body (preferred).

Ability to work independently across multiple sites with strong leadership skills.
