• Ensuring all maintenance problems and queries are dealt with efficiently.
• Guaranteeing maintenance activities are carried out safely and securely.
• Monitoring the basic fixtures and fittings of the building.
• Adhering to daily and weekly checks to ensure smooth operations.
• Directly managing the club Maintenance Engineer.
• Managing the monthly budget for maintenance in collaboration with General Manager.
• Acting as a point of contact for external technicians.
• Fulfilling Duty Shifts when required.

Education

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for creating and operating a viable and effective preventative maintenance programme for the whole site, including the building shell and surrounding grounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all maintenance problems and queries are dealt with efficiently and effectively.


• Guaranteeing that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and securely, and in line with company policies and procedures and current health and safety legislation.


• Monitoring the basic fixtures and fittings of the building are maintained to the highest standards of order and tidiness at all times.


• Adhering to daily and weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of site, keeping up to date and accurate records.


• Directly manages the club Maintenance Engineer and organises work rotations and individual assignments.


• Managing the monthly budget for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of the Club in collaboration with the General Manager and Operation Manager.


• Acts as point of contact for all external technicians and companies.


• Fulfilling Duty Shifts when required, therefore having responsibility and accountability during the shift, controlling staffing and facility issues throughout the club.

Qualifications

• A technical Level 2 qualification of City & Guilds equivalent or higher and 5 years\' experience within a relevant sector.
