We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee and manage all maintenance operations within our organization. This role is crucial for ensuring that our facilities, equipment, and machinery are consistently maintained to meet safety standards and operational efficiency. The Maintenance Manager will lead a team of maintenance staff, develop preventive maintenance schedules, and implement improvements to enhance facility reliability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Facility Maintenance Oversight
    • Oversee the daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring facilities and equipment are maintained in top working condition.
    • Coordinate routine and emergency repairs, and manage both preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Team Management
    • Lead, mentor, and train a team of maintenance technicians and support staff.
    • Assign tasks based on priorities and workload, ensuring timely completion of maintenance activities.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to ensure skill development and productivity.
  • Budgeting & Inventory Management
    • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective management of resources, including labor, parts, and supplies.
    • Maintain an organized inventory of tools, spare parts, and equipment, ordering replacements as needed.
  • Compliance & Safety
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations and guidelines (e.g., OSHA, EPA, MSHA).
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
    • Maintain accurate records for audits, inspections, and reporting purposes.
  • Preventative Maintenance Program
    • Develop and implement a proactive preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
    • Track maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution of planned activities.
  • Vendor Management
    • Manage relationships with external service providers and contractors for specialized repairs or projects.
    • Oversee contracts, pricing, and service agreements to ensure high-quality service and adherence to budgets.
  • Troubleshooting & Problem Solving
    • Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex equipment failures and ensure timely resolution.
    • Analyze failure data to identify recurring issues and work to resolve root causes.
Qualification and Education Requirements
  • Education & Experience:
    • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or higher in Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other building systems.
Skills & Competencies
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Certifications in maintenance management, such as a Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) or Facilities Management Professional (FMP).
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience with energy management and sustainability practices.
  • Knowledge of building automation systems and energy-saving technologies.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Proficient in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and other facility management software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Work Conditions
  • Works primarily in an office setting, occasionally in manufacturing areas and outdoor conditions including varying weather
  • Hours will be full-time
