Overview

Role: Maintenance Manager

Location: Northampton

Shifts: Monday - Friday Days only

Salary: £55,000, Pension, Generous Holidays, Lots of Investment

The Company

ATA Recruitment are proud to be working exclusively with one of the largest automation companies in the world. Currently operating in over 15 countries with 200+ sites across the world. Currently the company has a global turnover of over £4bn and they are looking to drive their company into the growing automation industry in the UK. At this site in the UK they are looking to become the flagship site for the UK as they grow and become more established.

The site is in the early stages but there has already been over £15 million invested into the site alone so far with some mega plans in 2026 including the implementation of the CMMS system, This opportunity as Maintenance Manager is a great opportunity to come into the company, grow the engineering function and expand alongside the company!

The Role
  • Liaising with customers and managing the relationship regarding all things engineering
  • Managing a team of 4 engineers, driving the culture and supporting within Continuous Improvement
  • Leading the values of the business whilst taking an active role within the growth of the engineering function
  • Running of appraisals, 121s with your team and leading recruitment for your team
  • Oversee installation and projects onsite inc management of contractors - making sure they have the correct permits etc
  • Ensuring the engineering function is aligned with all Health and Safety compliance requirements
  • Confidence to support engineers on the shop floor, with upskilling and development of skillsets
The Candidate
  • A Recognised Engineering Qualification with proven experience leading a team and having a positive impact
  • Proven experience within Engineering working on the tools and assisting a team
  • Experience in budget management
  • Someone who is comfortable working in a team and driving the culture
Salary and Benefits
  • An Annual salary of £55,000 per year
  • Plenty of opportunity to work overtime with the amount of investment and projects that the company have in mind
  • A Pension contribution from my client
