Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Manager to join our community hub team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation's core operations and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all aspects of Achieve together’s maintenance operations, including planning, scheduling and executing repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure the smooth functioning of facilities and equipment.
  • Ensuring all people we support live in a Good Home
Requirements
  • Driving licence is essential.
  • Flexibility, able to cover and/or provide support in other areas/homes within the portfolio if required.
  • Qualification: working towards, or willing to work towards, a relevant Building or Facilities Management Qualification.
  • Experience: previous experience in completing maintenance and managing jobs, ideally within a similar environment.
  • Knowledge: Good all-round knowledge of building works and relevant skill sets to enable effective support for a team of maintenance operatives.
  • Organisational skills: Excellent time management, administrative and organisational skills.
  • Initiative: Ability to use initiative and work with conflicting deadlines.
  • Approach: Ethical and professional approach, with ability to analyse complex scenarios to ensure best possible outcomes.
