Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Implement effective Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) strategies.
  • Lead plant failure root cause analysis investigations.

£70,000 per annum plus £6,600 car allowance / company car and 20% annual bonus.

What you'll be doing
  • Work closely with the Plant Manager and Engineers to deliver robust engineering solutions and contractual support to meet plant availability targets.
  • Support the maintenance team during breakdowns by coordinating contractor support and advising on repair solutions.
  • Develop maintenance procedures, strategies, method statements and risk assessments required for onsite maintenance activities, and review contractor documentation.
  • Deliver maximum availability and minimum downtime through effective Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) strategy to deliver plant performance and sustainability.
  • Deliver the planned outage periods (outage).
  • Lead plant failure root cause analysis (RCA) investigations, leading to plant improvements to increase plant availability and integrity.
  • Oversee management of change for changes to plant and introduction of new machinery, plant and equipment from specification through to full installation, collaborating with all relevant parties.
What we're looking for
  • UK Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, chemical), science or equivalent experience
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification
  • Experience in plant operation and maintenance within an engineering environment particularly with boiler operations and burner combustions, steam systems, and pressure systems
Required Competencies
  • Proficient level competencies in Relationship Management, Effective Communication, Time Management, Informed Decision Making, and IT Proficiency
