Hotel Maintenance Manager, Exeter £37k

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and knowledgeable Maintenance Manager for this 4* hotel located in Exeter.

This luxury boutique hotel has 60 bedrooms as well as a bistro, bar and spa area.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the general maintenance of the property, upkeep of its facilities and the management of the maintenance team
• Forward thinking and proactive in planning ahead for maintenance services
• Instrumental in creating a preventive action plan
• Liaising with contractors, taking responsibility for health and safety on the property
• Work alongside the General Manager and management to ensure a high standard of guest experience is achieved

• An experienced Maintenance Manager with a background of hotel maintenance
• Good leader capabilities – able to lead, manage and motivate a team
• Hands on (this is not an office based role)
• A knowledge of electrics and health and safety are beneficial
• Attention to detail and a passion for fixing things
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to resolve any issues in a logical and practical manner
• Flexible and willing with a positive, can do attitude
