A long-established manufacturing business in Chadderton is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations. Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance schedules, managing budgets, and ensuring health and safety compliance. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Managing maintenance activities (80% office-based, 20% hands‑on).
  • Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance schedules (PPM).
  • Leading CAPEX projects including solar, automation, and roofing initiatives.
  • Setting daily priorities and tasks for the maintenance team.
  • Reporting directly to the senior board on site performance and improvement plans.
  • Maintaining asset registers and managing budgets effectively.
  • Driving continuous improvement and health & safety compliance across site.
  • Conducting audits and ensuring all work meets company standards.

You’ll lead maintenance operations across the site, overseeing projects, managing assets, and driving improvements to keep the facility running safely and efficiently.
