This is a varied, fast-paced role that combines technical know-how with strong leadership and organisational skills - ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and taking pride in keeping great places in great shape.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead, train, and schedule maintenance staff, including technicians and contractors.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimise downtime and extend asset life.
  • Manage the maintenance budget, track spending, and handle procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure all maintenance activity meets health and safety standards and statutory compliance.
  • Oversee the repair and upkeep of mechanical, electrical, and building systems, responding to emergencies when required.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and compliance documentation.
  • Liaise with senior management, suppliers, and site teams to prioritise and deliver maintenance work.
  • Act as project manager for maintenance-related upgrades and refurbishments, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
About You

You're a confident leader with a practical mindset, a strong understanding of buildings and systems, and the ability to balance hands-on work with forward planning. You thrive in a busy, multi-site environment and enjoy working collaboratively across departments.

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience leading maintenance teams or managing maintenance operations.
  • Solid technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with maintenance management software and scheduling tools.
  • A sound understanding of health and safety requirements and compliance standards.
  • A relevant technical qualification or degree is desirable, alongside several years of hands-on maintenance experience.
