Job description

We are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Manager to take responsibility for all site maintenance at a busy facility in Brandon. This is a permanent, full-time role offering long-term stability and the opportunity to apply both electrical and mechanical expertise in a modern operational environment.

Role overview

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient running of all machinery and equipment on site. The role is hands‑on and technical: carrying out breakdown repairs, planned preventative maintenance and improvement works. You will provide day‑to‑day guidance to one direct report (indirect management).

Key responsibilities
  • Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance across plant machinery and equipment
  • Rapid fault‑finding and breakdown response to minimise downtime
  • Plan, schedule and deliver PPM programmes
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and site operating procedures
  • Manage contractors and suppliers when required
  • Provide operational guidance to one member of the team
Candidate requirements
  • Recognised electrical qualification with 18th Edition (IEE Wiring Regulations) essential
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and multi‑skilled maintenance background
  • Experience in manufacturing, recycling or waste industries is desirable
  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair equipment and production machinery under pressure
  • Able to work independently while supervising a small team

This is a full time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
