Job summary

Pre-Employment Requirements

• A negative TB test result must be on file prior to starting work.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid South Carolina Driver's License.
• Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.
• Positive employment history preferred.
• SLED/criminal background review required.

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Job Duties

• Provide general maintenance of the grounds within the school district.
• Perform yard duties to maintain the school grounds in an attractive condition (e.g., grass cutting, trimming shrubs).
• Keep grounds free from trash and rubbish.
• Maintain building and premises (e.g., sidewalks, driveways, play areas) clean and neat at all times.
• Report any necessary major repairs and/or damage to district property.
• Provide assistance in other maintenance areas as assigned.
• Perform other related duties as required, and all other duties as assigned.
