A leading tool manufacturer in Fradley seeks a Maintenance & Facilities Engineer to take ownership of site maintenance and facilities. The role requires 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, solid mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, and a HNC in Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance Engineering. Kyocera SGS Precision Tools is a leading manufacturer of solid carbide cutting tools, renowned for designing high-performance solutions for machining challenging materials such as stainless steel and titanium. We support industries including aerospace, medical, power generation, and motorsports by solving complex manufacturing challenges and improving process efficiency. We're entering an exciting phase of growth, relocating to the Midlands to bring Kyocera SGS and Kyocera Unimerco Tooling together under one roof - creating Kyocera's largest carbide tooling site in Europe.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you'll take ownership of site maintenance and facilities, ensuring manufacturing equipment and building services operate safely, reliably, and efficiently. You'll play a key role in minimising downtime, improving preventative maintenance, and supporting the continued growth of the business.
Initial training will take place at our Wokingham site and will continue until mid‑April, with all accommodation and travel expenses covered by the company. Following this period, the role will be permanently based at our new facility in Fradley, Staffordshire.
Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm, with need for some flexibility as and when required.
