Overview

We are looking for a NIGHTS maintenance Engineer to join a leading business in Sherburn in Elmet.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running, maintenance, and repair of machinery, plant, and systems to support continuous production in a high-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on FMCG machinery and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations
  • Support production to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency
  • Provide accurate communication and updates across departments
  • Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records and ensure full compliance with site procedures
Qualifications
  • Level 3 qualification in Engineering (Apprenticeship trained preferred)
  • Previous experience maintaining FMCG production machinery
  • Minimum Level 2 in Food Safety
  • Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
