  • Expertise in fault finding across electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer tired of long, draining 12-hour shifts that eat into your personal life? Ready to get your weekends back? We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer to take a pivotal role in maintaining our state-of-the-art depot.

About the Role

As the Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will be the driving force behind the efficiency of our advanced automation and depot facilities. You'll take ownership of maintaining and enhancing our mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Executing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on high-volume picking and automation machinery.
  • Providing swift and effective response to breakdowns and system faults across production equipment.
  • Managing and coordinating external contractors for specialised work.
  • Supporting the technical delivery of Supply Chain projects.
  • General upkeep, defect repair, and optimisation of depot facilities and automation systems.

Note on the environment: This is a hands-on role requiring you to stand and walk for most of your shift. You must be able to lift (up to 15 kg), bend, twist, kneel and crouch.

What You'll Bring

We are looking for a skilled, proactive engineer ready for a senior role.

Essential Requirements
  • Minimum Level 3 recognised qualification in an electrical, mechanical or engineering discipline.
  • Proven Maintenance Department experience in an industrial or logistics environment.
  • Strong practical experience with automated conveyor systems.
  • Expertise in fault finding across electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
Highly Desirable Experience
  • Knowledge of specific Warehouse Automation equipment (e.g., Dematic, TGW, Knapp, Vanderlande).
  • Experience in the management or mentoring of a technical team.
  • Relevant safety qualifications (IOSH or NEBOSH).
