A global engineering automation company is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) based in Silverdale, UK. This role includes responsibilities such as diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, completing servicing on automation equipment, and ensuring health and safety standards.   • Ensure on-site spares are kept at required levels.

The right Maintenance Engineer will support site maintenance and repairs within a site-based team environment, utilising a purpose-built automation system.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical)

  • Complete all servicing on a variety of automation and automated equipment
  • Diagnosis of Mechanical/Electrical faults and repairs
  • Positively react to any breakdown faults
  • Adhere to all H&S
  • Ensure on-site spares are kept to the required level
  • NVQ 3 or apprenticeship-trained Electrical, Mechanical or ONC, HNC.
  • Basic PLC fault-finding IN/OUT

The successful maintenance engineer will ideally have experience in an FMCG, automation, manufacturing, or production environment (electrical/mechanical).
