Are you a hands‑on Maintenance Engineer who loves problem‑solving and working with high‑tech machinery? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well‑established manufacturing business specialising in precision laser tube cutting, where your skills will help keep advanced laser systems performing at their best.

The Role
  • Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance on high‑precision tube laser machinery.
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and implement lasting fixes.
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with the maintenance schedule.
  • Keep accurate maintenance logs and manage critical spare parts.
  • Work closely with production and department managers to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement projects and contribute your ideas for better performance.
About You

You’re a natural problem‑solver with solid mechanical and electrical skills, ideally gained in a manufacturing environment. You’ll bring a positive, proactive attitude and a strong sense of ownership for your work.

You’ll have:
  • City & Guilds or BTEC in an engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Electrical knowledge (circuitry and fault finding).
  • Mechanical engineering experience, ideally with pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Confidence using PCs and maintenance logging systems.
  • A passion for quality, safety, and getting the job done right.
