Job description

Responsibilities
  • Ensure technical availability of production machinery and facilities
  • Perform first-line fixes to minimise downtime and support production continuity
  • Maintain equipment to TPM schedules and improve machine uptime using OEE data
  • Support building services and participate in improvement projects
  • Mentor apprentices and provide technical advice when needed
Requirements
  • HNC in Electrical/Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
  • 18th Edition electrical wiring qualification (advantageous)
  • Experience with PLC fault finding (S5, S7, TIA Portal), safety systems, and control panels
  • Minimum 1 year in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing setting
  • Strong knowledge of electro-pneumatics, hydraulics, and machining technologies
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively under time pressure
