Job Description

Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturer of medical and cosmetics devices, based in Alcester. Salary £42,000 per annum. Rotating shift Monday to Friday – 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out plant maintenance across the site, ensuring production machinery is fully functioning and working to an optimal level.
  • Carry out preventative and planned maintenance to production machinery and site services.
  • Carry out unplanned breakdown repairs to production equipment.
  • Update TPM system tasks accordingly on internal systems.
  • Work on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Maintain and repair buildings, building services and surrounding area.
  • Maintain and update assigned preventative maintenance schedule requirements.
  • Ensure supply of spares stocks and consumables.
  • Carry out testing of facility systems (fire alarms, electrical testing, etc.).
  • Manage contractors on site.
Qualifications
  • Experience of working in plant maintenance within a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulics systems.
  • Hold an 18th edition BS7671 electrical system.
  • Hold an electrical qualification to BTEC level or equivalent.
  • Able to commit to a rotating shift pattern.

The company is based in the Alcester area, commutable from Redditch, Worcester, Evesham, Studley, Stratford‑upon‑Avon, Bromsgrove, Henley in Arden.
