Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Heathrow, Greater London – £40,000 per annum + Package

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to be based in a commercial building in Heathrow, Greater London. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in building maintenance. The role involves carrying out planned and reactive building maintenance. The company is offering a competitive salary of up to £40,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into further career progression.

Hours of work

• Monday to Friday – 08:00 am to 17:00 pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting (small installation, fault-finding, lamplight, etc.)
• Emergency lighting tests
• Control panels
• Changing ballast
• BMS system – monitor (hot & cold)
• Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
• Maintain and update log books
• Plumbing – unblocking toilets
• Pumps, motors
• Water flushing / temperature checks logs
• Boosted water pumps
• Fire damper maintenance
• Attend client meetings
• General PPMs
• Control of sub-contractors
• Permit to work system
• Maintaining site logbooks

Requirements

• Electrically or mechanically qualified – Level 2 or 3
• City & Guilds – 18th Edition
• Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• Multi-skilled
• Good communication skills
• Client facing
