Maintenance Engineer – Coventry, Warwickshire

Salary: £50,490 per annum

Working Pattern: 4 on 4 off Days/Nights (6-6)

Location: Coventry, Warwickshire

We are looking for a multi‑skilled maintenance engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias to join a global brand at our heavy manufacturing site in Coventry. The role involves supporting substantial change and expanding our maintenance team.

Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain conveyors, mixers, ovens, kilns, mills, balers, motors, and gearboxes.
  • Control‑panel fault find and interpret schematics and drawings.
  • Operate and maintain heavy plant‑based machinery in a physically demanding environment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a multi‑skilled maintenance engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with heavy plant‑based machinery (conveyors, ovens, mixers, kilns, balers, motors, gearboxes).
  • Experience fault finding on Allen Bradley PLCs (advantageous).
  • Ability to read and utilise schematics and drawings.
  • Team‑orientated attitude and willingness to get stuck in a heavy plant setting.
