A leading engineering recruitment agency seeks an experienced Maintenance Engineer in Birmingham to maintain heavy industrial machinery. The role requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience with plant facilities maintenance, and proficiency in fault finding and welding. Candidates should hold an HND or NVQ in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with heavy industrial plant machinery.
• Experience maintaining plant facilities.
• Ideally experience with CNC machinery (not essential).
• Experience stripping and rebuilding machinery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain heavy industrial plant machinery such as furnaces and milling machines.
• Work proactively to maintain and repair equipment across the plant facility.
• Perform preventive maintenance schedules (PPM’s).
