Overview

Maintenance Engineer Required Milton Keynes. We have a new, dynamic role as a Maintenance Engineer at our site in Milton Keynes. Working as part of a small team you will be servicing, maintaining and repairing industrial equipment other types of machinery. You will also be involved with general building, electrical and mechanical maintenance.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - Flexible between the hours of 8am-6pm.

Responsibilities

• All aspects service repair of machinery including set up and operation of various machines
• Raising all maintenance issues and accurately recording of all details on the computer system
• Promote continuous improvement processes to minimise downtime & productivity in all operational processes.
• Fault finding
• Ensure conformance to Health and Safety operating regulations for employees, visitors and self whilst engaged on company business.
• Assisting contractors with related duties

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias, due to the presence of electrical cabinets on our machinery that require ongoing maintenance and repair.

Essential:

• Electrical / Mechanical qualification level 3 or Machine maintenance qualification or equivalent
• Experience of reading technical, mechanical, electrical drawings
• Understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
• Self-motivated, reliant, diligent, analytical and numerate.
• PC Literate.
• The ability to understand and use all types of hand tools & testing equipment

Desirable:

• Formal engineering qualification or engineering apprenticeship
• Understanding and operating control systems
• Ability to use all relevant areas of manufacturing computer based control system and all its supporting requirements
• Machine Maintenance skills applicable to the type of equipment operated
• A working knowledge of computer windows based applications
