Maintenance Engineer (Dual Skilled)
Location: Antrim
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Overtime Opportunities + Shift Allowance
Hours: Day Shift | Full-Time, Permanent

A leading manufacturer in Antrim is seeking a Dual Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their experienced engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, high-performing production environment, supporting both planned and reactive maintenance activities across a range of equipment and systems.

The Role

As a key member of the maintenance team, you will ensure machinery and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. You'll carry out fault diagnosis, perform routine servicing, and contribute to continuous improvement activities across the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver both reactive and planned maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Diagnose and repair breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance schedules and maintain accurate service records.
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment or upgrades.
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment performance meets operational targets.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with Health & Safety standards and company procedures.
About You
  • Time-served, with strong mechanical and electrical engineering skills.
  • Proven experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Confident in electrical fault finding, motor controls, sensors, and mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of PLCs and automated equipment (advantageous).
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to maintenance.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the flexibility to support wider site operations when required.
