Job Summary

We are partnering with a fast‑moving processing business to find a Maintenance Engineer for their expanding engineering team. The role involves carrying out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, responding to breakdowns, and actively contributing to continuous improvement projects, root‑cause investigations and overall equipment efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on a variety of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Respond to breakdowns and minimise downtime.
  • Collaborate with production and other departments to maintain smooth operations.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects and root‑cause investigations.
  • Enhance overall equipment effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
  • Engineering qualification required.
  • Industrial/manufacturing background preferred.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance systems and attending breakdowns.
  • Ability to work proactively and support continuous improvement initiatives.
