Job summary

A growing manufacturing company in Hednesford is seeking a Maintenance Engineer. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance of various industrial machinery, including injection moulding machines. Job description

Location: Worcester

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 (Worcester)

Shifts: Mon-Fri (8:30am-5pm with flexibility)

The Role

As the site's go-to Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime across a variety of equipment including injection moulding machines, extrusion lines, vacuum forming cells, chillers, granulators, compressors, and more. You will be the escalation point for technical issues, supporting the business with your electrical bias while also applying mechanical expertise.

What We're Looking For
  • Experience maintaining plastic injection moulding machinery or similar industrial equipment or heavy industry machinery.
  • Skilled in PLC fault-finding – (Programming Desirable)
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems and general facilities maintenance.
  • Ideally, 5 years' post-qualification experience (or QBE).
