Job summary

Kemp Eko Talent Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a day shift role at a leading manufacturing facility in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving a wide range of factory equipment across mechanical and electrical systems.

You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance to keep production running smoothly, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reduced downtime. Involvement in continuous improvement and supporting production teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining mechanical and electrical production equipment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and improve factory equipment.
• Experience in planned and reactive maintenance and fault finding.
• Experience with conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors and automated production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across all production machinery.
• Ensure equipment is running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
• Work on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors and automated production equipment.
• Maintain and repair systems involving electrics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve safety.
• Assist production teams with machine setups, fault finding, and provide training where needed.
