Overview

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service a wide range of 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC and manual lathes, mills and turning machines.
• Produce components with tolerances down to 10 microns, ensuring precision and quality.
• Operate and service machines including DMG Morri 3/4/5 axis, Stars sliding head lathe, Herco and XYZ lathes.
• Manage preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules, respond to unexpected breakdowns, and support production targets and quality targets.
• Work hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 4.45pm (12:00 midday finish on Friday) with overtime opportunities and a bonus; no night shifts or weekends.
• After repair, perform calibration testing including electrical safety checks; training and certification are available (City & Guilds 18th Edition Electrical Installations).
