PfP Students seeks a Maintenance Engineer to provide on-site technical expertise, focusing on carpentry and related maintenance tasks. The role involves diagnosing issues, carrying out repairs, and ensuring PPM programmes are completed on schedule.

A basic DBS check is mandatory, and the role is on-site five days a week, 9am–6pm with a 1-hour lunch. The candidate will join a team under PfP Students to support safer, well-maintained housing and communities.

Qualifications

• Carpentry and joinery skills required for on-site maintenance.
• Experience repairing and maintaining fire doors is essential.
• Familiarity with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and CAFM systems is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair general maintenance issues on-site.
• Carry out carpentry tasks as part of maintenance duties.
• Ensure PPM programmes are completed on time and complete remedial work as needed.

More about your role

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer who can provide on site technical expertise to ensure that any issues that require carpentry are diagnosed and repaired. This is a varied role and you will be expected to carry out general maintenance issues where required.

Working as part of the wider PfP Students Team, you will ensure that PPM programmes are completed on time. In addition, you will be required to complete additional remedial work as and when required.
This role is based on site 5 days a week with working hours of 9am - 6pm with 1 hour lunch.

• Experience/Qualification in Fire Door Repair/Maintenance
