Maintenance Engineer

Alecto Recruitment are partnering with an established company in the Anaerobic Digestion sector who are looking to hire a Maintenance Engineer. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining pumps, motors and gearboxes as well as having some experience with fabrication.

Role Description
  • The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for equipment maintenance, maintenance engineering, maintenance & repair, and preventive maintenance on a daily basis.
  • Assist with the day-to-day planned preventative maintenance and functionality requirements of operating anaerobic digesters
  • Performing planned preventative maintenance and lubrication on plant assets such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, and valves.
  • Completing reactive tasks based on defect lists, taking readings from on-site meters, and filling out relevant check sheets.
Qualifications
  • Equipment Maintenance, Maintenance Engineering, Maintenance & Repair, and Preventive Maintenance skills
  • A background in Anaerobic Digestion, Power, Renewables, Water, or Recycling would be beneficial.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving in maintenance operations
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in energy production
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Relevant technical certifications or degrees in Engineering or a related field.
