Maintenance Engineer – Part Time (2 Days per Week)

Location: Exeter

Environment: Commercial Building

Hours: 2 days per week (flexible days)

Pay: Competitive hourly rate, flexible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled PPMs on building systems and equipment
• Respond promptly to reactive maintenance issues and breakdowns
• Carry out basic electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance tasks
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Record and report maintenance activities

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in either Electrical or Mechanical discipline
• Proven experience in a similar maintenance role (commercial or building services)
• Strong understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance procedures
• Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
