A leading European manufacturing organisation is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support maintenance and engineering projects in Wrexham, North Wales. The role involves performing electrical and mechanical maintenance, managing facilities, and contributing to production operations.   • Carry out energy-saving improvements across the site.
  • Work with TPM schedules and resolve production system breakdowns.
  • Perform minor PLC programming adjustments.

Job Location: Wrexham, North Wales

Salary: Up to GBP 37,500

Key Responsibilities
  • A Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance and installations in line with company safety systems and isolation policies
  • A Manage general facilities maintenance, sourcing and supervising contractors on site
  • A Support production and moulding operations with planned and reactive maintenance
  • A Carry out energy:saving improvements and initiatives across the site
  • A Work with TPM schedules and resolve production system breakdowns
  • A Perform minor PLC programming adjustments to support automated systems
Person Specification
  • A Have a HND (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • A Be ideally qualified to 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
  • A Have experience with small building or plumbing/heating projects advantageous
  • A Posses strong problem:solving and project management skills
  • A Be organised, detail:focused, and committed to safe working practices
  • A Be an effective communicator who enjoys teamwork and taking ownership of tasks
