Performance Objectives
  • Maintenance Planning: Develop and schedule preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify mechanical issues and determine root causes of equipment failures; perform repairs or coordinate with other professionals for complex repairs.
  • Equipment Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of machinery to monitor performance and safety standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and inventory of parts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering teams to develop improvement strategies for production processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and contribute to creating a safe working environment.
  • Training: Train and mentor junior maintenance staff on best practices and safety procedures.
Person Specification
  • Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years in a maintenance engineering role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Proficiency in mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
