Industrial ElectricianSalary: £21 per hour • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm • Location: Dudley • Type: Full-time / Permanent

A market-leading food manufacturer is expanding its Dudley site and is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join the team. This is a great opportunity to join a skilled engineering team focused on keeping production efficient, reliable, and safe in a fast-paced environment.

Role Overview

As an Industrial Electrician, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving electrical systems across the site. You'll work closely with the maintenance and production teams to ensure all equipment operates at peak performance while meeting strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations across production and site services.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and machinery.
  • Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and electrical upgrades across the plant.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and food manufacturing regulations.
Your Profile
  • Time-served or qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
  • Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, control panels, and fault finding.
  • Multiskilled background (mechanical knowledge) is an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
