Job summary

A machinery service provider based in Uttoxeter is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to service and maintain production machinery onsite. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, will be a strong communicator, and must be able to read technical drawings. Responsibilities include evaluating machine faults, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring machinery readiness for production.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Engineer – Uttoxeter – 4 on 4 off days – £40,000 - £45,000 P/a

SF Engineering are recruiting for a maintenance engineer to service, maintain and repair our clients Production Machinery onsite to include conveyor and feed system, pallet stacking machinery, pumps and motors etc.

Job Responsibilities

• To service, maintain and repair Production Machinery onsite to include conveyor and feed system, pallet stacking machinery, pumps and motors etc.
• Evaluating potential Machine Faults or issues and providing feedback to the Management Team.
• Fault Finding potential issues with Production Machinery.
• Completing PPM on Machinery onsite, managing PPM schedules and booking in planning maintenance works with the Management Team onsite.
• Reading and interpreting Technical Drawings for Machinery.
• Pre-Shift Production Checks on Machinery to ensure they are fully oiled and greased prior to Production.
• Completing paperwork relating to any PPM or repairs completed on Production Machinery.

Role Requirements

• 3 - 5 years previous experience working within a similar role or environment is essential.
• Must be happy to work individual as well as with other Engineers onsite.
• Must be able to read and interpret Technical Drawings / Schematics.
• Must be a strong communicator who can build relationships with stakeholders within the business.
