Job description

A well-established UK manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality is looking for a mechanical bias Maintenance Engineer to support a busy production facility near Bury.

As a Maintenance Engineer you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of industrial machinery, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, fault-finding, and supporting continuous improvement across the site.

Maintenance Engineer Duties

• Monday – Friday (06:00 - 14:00) / Sunday – Thursday (14:00 - 22:00)
• Maintenance and breakdown support on high-volume manufacturing equipment
• Mechanical fault finding and repair
• PPM's and reactive maintenance
• Working with production to minimize downtime
• Updating maintenance logs and CMMS

Maintenance Engineer Requirements

• Completed a recognised apprenticeship
• Relevant manufacturing experience
• Mechanical skills (welding, fabrication, bench fitting)
• Willing to undertake extra training
• Electrical skills a bonus (PLC's and invertors)

Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK.

This role is commutable from: Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Bolton, Ramsbottom, Littleborough, Blackburn, Burnley and surrounding areas.
